The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) encourages stakeholders to work together in improving the quality of digital literacy for MSMEs through facilitating training both technical and non-technical, as well as marketing.

Support and involvement for stakeholders providing digital transaction services is also needed to make digital transactions wider and easier for the public for MSMEs.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated digitalization had a significant impact on the development of MSMEs in Jakarta, such as expanding market/marketing access by utilizing digital platforms to sell MSME products.

According to her, digitalization is also capable of opening up new opportunities for growth and improvement of their business, can help MSMEs manage their business more efficiently, MSMEs can develop products and services based on consumer needs.

"Until MSMEs can interact directly with consumers to build stronger relationships and increase consumer loyalty," she explained, Thursday (7/18).

She explained the synergy made through the provision of digital marketing training facilitation certainly has an impact on increasing the quality and competitiveness of coached MSMEs, thus overall, the Jakarta Government can push the competitiveness, quality and marketing of Jakarta MSME products which directly contributes to increasing the existence of MSMEs to international scene.

She added it could increase the competitiveness, usability and resilience of MSMEs who are increasingly connected with extensive networks providing great opportunities for the growth and development of MSMEs in Jakarta.

"The Jakarta Government's important role has as a driver for the absorption of local products, with the implementation of various programs and policies implemented, of course it needs to be supported by various other stakeholders," she added.
